Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Mary A. Davis, 89, former Wabash resident, which occurred Monday evening at 11:20 o'clock in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Robert Cox, Middlebury, O.
Mrs. Davis was the widow of Alexander Davis who preceded her in death 38 years ago. He operated a grocery store on Manchester Avenue for many years.
The survivors include the daughter and a son, Harry.
The body will be brought to Wabash Thursday about noon and services will be held in the Wire Funeral Home at 3 o'clock that same afternoon. Dr. Ware W. Wimberly, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of which the decedent was a member, will officiate and burial will be in Falls Cemetery.
