Roland Hageman, 82, who had resided here for the last two months at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Cleo Persons, 835 N. Market, died Sunday morning of a heart attack.
He was born in Illinois Nov 16, 1869, and was retired from work at the Kansas City stockyards where he was a hostler. Before going to Kansas City 30 years ago he had been a farmer in Ford County.
Surviving are the five daughters, Mrs. Cleo Persons, and Mrs Maudie Hatfield, 1318 S. Ash, Mrs Zona Gove, Springfield, Colo, Mrs. Irene Hoffman, Pueblo, Colo, Mrs Dorothy Horne, Oakland, Calif; one sister Mrs. Lulu Winders, San Francisco, Calif.; one brother, Andy Hageman, Beaver, Okla.; eight grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be announced by Byrd-Snodgrass funeral home.
