William "Booker" Stalnaker was born in AL and moved to OK in 1910 with his parents Julius M. & Jane (Tucker) Stalnaker. Booker was one of nine children born to Julius Monroe & Jane Stalnaker.
He married Daisy Burton about 1917 in Seminole Co, OK. Later becoming widowed in 1920 he remarried in 1924 to Rubel Fay Gilliland. They raised four children in the Maud, OK area, Beatrice, Boyd, Robert & Frank.
