Navigator abaord B-17G Flying Fortress #42-38082.
While on a mission to Berlin out of Kimbolton, England, collided with B-17 #42-37784 and crashed near Eberswalde, Germany, northeast of Berlin (possibly between Eberswalde and Melchow).

MACR 5321 - Awarded Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster and Purple Heart [Posthumously].
