JAMES B. TITTLE
James B. Tittle, aged 68, died at his home, 3207 Avenue O, at 6:20 o'clock yesterday morning after a lingering illness.
He is survived by his wife, five sons, Walter C. of Oklahoma; John A., Jesse H., Clarence D. and Paul F., all of East Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Miller and Mrs. Fannie Shackleford, of this city; four brothers, George and William of Nashville, William F. of Whiteside, and Jhon of Grapeville, Tex.; and two sisters, Mrs. Larua Blevins, of Texas, and Mrs. Cynthia Trausdale, of Hendersonville, Tenn.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence. Active pallbearers will be Jesse, Clarence and Paul, sons of the deceased; Frank and Tom Carroll and Earnest Tittle, nephews. Honorary W.G. Carroll, Richard F. Tittle, John H. McCarley, Charles H. Smith, Tom Dempsey and Frank West.
Interment will follow in the family cemetery at Wildwood, Ga.--from the Chattanooga Times February 21 1926
