Dorothy Ferne Allen, 90, Oregon, Mo died Saturday, Jan 13, 2007, at Oregon. She was born Nov 29, 1916, in Helena, the daughter of John and Gertie Curd Campbell. She graduate from Albany High School in 1935. She married Loren Allen April 30, 1936. The moved to Oregon in 1960. He died in 1982. She was a charter member and active in the First Baptist Church, Oregon, and taught Sunday School. She was also preceded in death by two brothers; Harold and Donald Campbell; five sisters, Bessie Robinson, Gladys Welch, Edith Hamilton, Elsie Schildtknecht and Florence Gifford; and two grandchildren. She is survived by four daughters, Alice Barker of King City, Donna Slaybaugh of Kansas City, Dixie Derr of Reed Springs and Marcia Hansen of Appleton, Wisc., three sons, Clifford of Tremont City, Ohio, Richard of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Ronald of Oregon; a brother, Mansel Campbell of Galt; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Oregon, with the Rev. Steve ellis officiating. Burial was in the Union Star Cemetery. Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon, Mo was in charge of arrangements.
