Francis Brazee, son of Nicholas and Elizabeth (Silvernail) Brazee was born near Gallatin, NY, on Dec. 10, 1789. He was a farmer and he married Mary, who was born in 1789 in Connecticut. They had 9 children, 3 of whom were pastors of the gospel. Francis and Mary Brazee moved to Ashtabula, Ohio, with their son when he went to serve as pastor in the Western Reserve area. Francis died in 1869 at the age of 80. Children of Francis and Mary Brazee were Peter B. Brazee - b. 1810 in Connecticut; Harriet E. Brazee - b.1811; Loring Brazee - b. approx. 1812; Frederick Brazee - b. 1814; Anson Brazee - b. Feb. 17, 1817, in Salisbury, CT; Samuel S. Brazee - b.
