Lois Alene Rose, of Pioneer, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Huntsville Manor. She was born in Scott County, Tennessee on November 5, 1935 to the late Jesse and Bertha Marcum Adkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband Ray Rose; sister Jean Gibson; two infant brothers.

She was a special mother to Kathy Rose, David Rose and Mark Rose all of Oneida, Cindy Rose Bridge and husband James of South Carolina, and Elliot Rose and wife Robin of South Carolina; sister, Betty Hunter and Ed of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, grandchildren: Rebecca, Katelyn, Jessica, Jason, Kali, Kasie, Nichole, Lisa, Hillary, Morgan, Devin, Megan, Kessa, Marka; 24 great grandchildren; nieces, Kathy Kuwatch and husband, Bob, Becky Overbey, Angie and husband, Greg, and Brenda Newton and husband, Ken, all of Cincinnati. She also leaves other special nieces, great nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Sewell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Adkins Cemetery in the Straight Fork Community.
