Lizzie Deloris Chambers, 68, of Huntsville, passed away March 19, 2004, at St.
Mary's Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. Born in Campbell County, April 12,
1935, she was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Perlie Sweeney Young;
two brothers, Lonnie and Robert Young; and four sisters, infants Edith and Elsie
Young, and Gladys Woods and Myrtle Ford. She was a member of the Huntsville
Praise & Worship Center. She is survived by her husband, John Paul Chambers; two
daughters: Donna Tibbs and husband, Brandon, of LaFollette; and Christy Goad and
husband, Glen, of Oneida; twin sons, Tony and Johnny Chambers, both of
LaFollette; five grandchildren, three sisters: Sue Poteet, Wanda Carroll, and
Irene Bolton; two brothers, Lonas Young and Ray Young; several nieces and
nephews, and many other relatives. Funeral service was conducted March 22, in
the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Ralph Combs
officiating. Music was provided by Ina Collins and Pam Olivio. Interment
followed in Adkins Cemetery in the Straight Fork community. Four Oaks Funeral
Home of Huntsville was in charge of arrangements. (Source: The Independent
