Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Henderson Street Baptist Church. The Rev. Eddie Freeman and the Rev. Dan Burt will officiate. Interment: Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Crosier-Pearson-Cleburne.
Memorials: May be made to Henderson Street Baptist Church Building Fund or the Homebound Ministry of Field Street Baptist Church.
Julia Webb was born June 4, 1914, in the Friendship community to Will T. and Bennie Rose Anderson. She married Clyde Webb on June 1, 1941, in Marietta, Okla.
Mrs. Webb graduated from Cleburne High School and then attended North Texas University where she received her bachelor's and master's degrees. She went on to teach school in Keller, Krum and Little Rock, Ark., where Mr. Webb was recuperating from wounds received in World War II. After the war ended she taught at Friendship School and then Keene Public School for 16 years. She retired in 1974 after 30 years of teaching. Julia also served as a leader in the 4-H Club and Boy Scouts. She was a member of Henderson Street Baptist Church, where she served as president of the WMU and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Webb; her parents; one brother, Lee Anderson; three sisters, Annie Bowles, Ester Gossett and Edna Crawford.
Survivors: Son, Tommy Webb and wife, Dianne, of Cleburne; grandsons, Troy Webb and wife, Lauren, and Kenneth Webb and wife, Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Dalton, Hailey, Elizabeth, Hannah and Caleb Webb; and a number of nieces and nephews.
