Glenn Zellner
Glenn Zellner, 90, of 2203 Grantland Ave., died Tuesday night at Vanderbilt Hospital after a short illness.
Services were held at 10 a.m. today at Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, S. P. Pittman, Church of Christ minister, officiated with Dr. Wayne Bell of the Vine Street Christian Church, and Dr. James Church assisting. Burial was in Lynnville.
Mr. Zellner, a retired farmer, was born in Maury County. He attended public schools in Giles and Williamson counties.
He was a Williamson County farmer most of his life.
Mr. Zellner lived in Nashville the past 40 years. Several years ago he suffered a heart attack. He was taken to Vanderbilt Saturday after a severe attack of asthma.
He was married in 1894 to Cordelia Fry of Lynnville. She died in 1952.
Survivors include one daughter, Miss Lois Zellner, Nashville; five sons, Lt. Col. Jesse Zellner, USAF Ret., William Zellner, Glenn Zellner Jr., Cordelle Zellner, all of Nashville, and Harry Zellner of Murfreesboro; three sisters, Mrs. D. L. Boyd of Brentwood, Mrs. Albert Sowell of Corsicana, Tex., and Mrs. W. H. English of Franklin; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
