Mr. Spencer was a native of Pearl River County and was employed as a foreman with International Paper Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force and was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Helen Stork of Pascagoula; a sister, Mittie Neill of Chalmette, La.; and two grandchildren.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune where friends may call two hours before service time. Burial will be in Caesar Cemetery in Picayune.
