Doxey, Jr. Ann survived her father, but she and one of her sons, James Alexander Doxey, died March 11, 1985, in a private plane crash over Charleston, WV. Two sons, John A. Doxey and William "Will" David Doxey and her husband, George A. Doxey, Jr., survived the crash.
