Mrs. Priscilla Presnell Glenn, 79, of 448 Lower Rush Branch Road, Sugar Grove, wife of the late Dudley W. Glenn, died Wednesday morning, Aug. 6, 2003, at Glenbridge Health Care.
She was born Jan. 19, 1924, in Sugar Grove, Watauga County, to the late Charlie and Delfie Ward Presnell.
Mrs. Glenn was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Martha Ward and husband, Dean, and Ms. Wanda G. Hollers, all of Sugar Grove and Mrs. Barbara Woodring of Shelby; two sons, Charlie Glenn and wife, Shirley, of Banner Elk and Roger Glenn of Shelby; two brothers, Harmon Presnell and wife, Joy, of Sugar Grove and Grover Presnell of Reidsville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Alice Glenn; a son, Roy Lee Glenn; and a grandson, Charles Glenn.
Services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Antioch Baptist Church. The body will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m.
Officiating will be the Rev. Carl Wilson, the Rev. Gene Smith and the Rev. Quincy Norris. Burial will follow in the Antioch Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening (Friday) from 7-8:30 p.m. at Hampton Funeral Service.
