CLARENCE J. CROSS DIES FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS
The death of Clarence J. Cross, 75, retired Wabash Cabinet company employee, occurred Sunday forenoon at 11:30 o'clock. Mr. Cross had been in failing health for the last five years.

The decedent was born Feb. 11, 1866 in Huntington, the son of Jesse and Mary O. Cross. At the age of 12, he came with his parents to wabash county and lived the rest of his life in this locality.

He was married to Eva Jackson in 1893. She preceded him in death five years ago.

Mr. Cross for 45 years was an employee of the Wabash Cabinet company, attaining one of the longest records of service in the history of the organization. He was a member of the First Methodist church.

Survivors include a son, Don Cross; a daughter, Mrs. Harry Hawley; a brother, Edward J. Cross; a sister, Mrs. James G. Beck, and three grandchildren, Carolyn Cross and John and Mary Hawley.

The body was taken to the Hoover Funeral home where friends may call. Funeral services will be held at the mortuary Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. R.C. Plank, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be made at Falls cemetery.
