Paul Henry Eilers died July 12, 2009. He was born January 24, 1960 to M. Jean Eilers and Henry L. Eilers in Battle Creek, Michigan. He graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1978, where he still holds the school record for the 200 IM in swimming. Upon graduation from Central Michigan University with a BA in business, Paul started a long career selling cars for Ford. He stayed involved with his swimming passion by officiating meets up until this past year. Paul married in 1984 and had two beautiful daughters, Ashley Lauren and Brittany Lee. They were the light of his life. Paul is survived by his parents, Henry L. Eilers of Galveston, TX and Jean Eilers of Waterford, MI; his two daughters; a sister and her husband, Peggy and Karl Weber; 3 nephews, Nick, Joe and John Weber; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul loved his friends, sporting events and cruising on his boat on Cass Lake. The family thanks you for your concern, love and friendship for Paul. The Reverend John W. Meyer will officiate his service.
Cremation will follow the services.
