Aldrich, Grace of Marigold Apartments, 30 Church St., Lyndonville, died at NVRH in St. Johnsbury, Wednesday, May 3, 1989, at the age of 91. She was born Sept. 8, 1897, in Sutton, VT, the daughter of Albert Heath and Jennie Ardell Page. She was a descendant of both Bartholomew Heath and John Page, who settled in Massachusetts in the 1630s. Her husband, Darwin "Ted" Aldrich, predeceased her. She is survived by a sister, Della Goss of St. Johnsbury; a son, Arthur and Marguerite Aldrich of Montpelier; two grandchildren, Mrs. Leonard (Susan) Spencer of Cabot and George C. Aldrich of Montpelier; two great-grandchildren, Cerelia A. and Jonathan R. Spencer; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A brother, Lewis Heath, predeceased her.

She was active in the American Legion Auxiliary, Lyndon Home Demonstration Group and Lyndon Area Senior Action Center. Her hobby was growing flowers and for many years she was in charge of the flower exhibit at Caledonia County Fair. She resided in her home on Vail Hill until 1983 when she moved to Lyndonville

Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Friday May 5, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Cook officiating. Burial wil be in Lyndon Center Cemetery. Woods-Trefren and Pearsons Funeral Home, 17 Church St., Lyndonville, in charge of arrangements.
