Mr. Mitchell Manning, 77,of Hortense died Friday night and was buried Saturday afternoon at the Raulerson Cemetery near Hortense.
The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. H. R. Gunby of Hortense. Mr. Manning was a native of Brantley County and was a prominent and respected citizen.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Linda Manning and 11 children, seven sons are C. H. Manning, J. Manning, Enoch Manning, Daniel Manning, Lawrence Manning, Paul Manning and D. C. Manning. Daughters are Mrs. Gertrude Roberson, Mrs. Pearl Padgett, Mrs. Fleta Waters and Mrs. Virginia Murray.
