Annie was active until the time of her sudden death. While at the home of her daughter, Minnie, in Batchtown, Annie helped to wash the dishes after the evening meal. She sat down to rest for a moment, and died.

She was survived by 4 daughters, Clara Sackman of Jerseyville, Emma Frazier of St. Louis, Missouri, Lillie Twichell of St. Louis, and Minnie Heffington of Batchtown; 2 sons, Henry Fiedler of Hardin, and Herman Fiedler of Batchtown; and 2 sisters, Matilda Kolb of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and Barbara Fiedler of Batchtown.
Funeral services were conducted in Calhoun County, Illinois. Annie was buried in Gueck Cemetery.
