The daughter of Nicholas Fonck and Johanna Decker, Annie came to the United States with her family around 1887.

Annie married Christian F. Fiedler on 08 Apr 1891 in Calhoun County, Illinois. They were the parents of at least 6 children.

Christian passed away in 1906. Annie raised the children on her own after that.

Annie was active until the time of her sudden death. While at the home of her daughter, Minnie, in Batchtown, Annie helped to wash the dishes after the evening meal. She sat down to rest for a moment, and died.

At the time of her death, Annie was 73 years, 3 months and 7 days old. She was survived by 4 daughters, Clara Sackman of Jerseyville, Emma Frazier of St. Louis, Missouri, Lillie Twichell of St. Louis, and Minnie Heffington of Batchtown; 2 sons, Henry Fiedler of Hardin, and Herman Fiedler of Batchtown; and 2 sisters, Matilda Kolb of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and Barbara Fiedler of Batchtown.

Funeral services were conducted in Calhoun County, Illinois. Annie was buried in Gueck Cemetery.
