Daisy Annie Rose Baker was born 23 October 1896 at Chadwell St. Mary, (now Tilbury) Essex, England, daughter of Charles and Charlotte Chambers Baker.

Her parents married 25 December 1890 at Chadwell St. Mary.

Siblings included:

Percy Edward who was born 27th March 1891. He was killed in Action in France in the Great War.
Charles was born 30th March 1897
Walter was born 5th March 1899 at 24 Quebec Road in what was then in Chadwell St. Mary, but is now Tilbury. When his parents died in 1907 and 1908, he was shipped off to Canada, along with his brothers Charles and John Henry to start a new life as one of the Dr. Barnardo's Home Children. He and Charles would be sent to France with the Canadian Forces. They survived the Great War.
Charlotte was born 9th September 1901. She married Francis Amott and was the only member of the family to remain in England. She was raised by her Uncle Walter and Aunt Kate.
John Henry born 15th August 1903
Sarah Rose born 14th November 1905. "Rose" was cared for by family members in England; then emigrated to Canada with her brother Charles, after he was married.

Daisy went to live with her grandparents, Charles and Sophia Chambers in England, after her parents died. She was about 14 at the time. She married Walter Fralick 1 September 1917 in Ilford, Essex, England, in a lovely wedding. They emigrated to Canada.

Walter Fralick was born 21 February 1896 in Canboro, Ontario, Canada. He died 1 March 1960 in Toronto, Ontario. He had worked for the Gurney Scale Company and the N. Y. Central Railroad. He served in World War I with the 4th Battalion.

Their children included:
Evelyn Charlotte (Mrs. Hay), Raymond, Elsie (Sheila)(Mrs. James Syer), Harold, and Donald.

Evelyn Fralick Hay predeceased her mother.
