He always was the sun shine on a gloomy day. Wade was a lot of things to a lot of people. Wade was a good man who worked very hard to take care of his family. It was nothing for him to work 16 to 18 hour days or be away from his family for days due to working. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, he also was a peanut farmer and he loved driving a semi truck. Wade had two sons from his first marriage with sheila johnson. James Robert McGowan and Justin Carl McGowan and when he married his second wife Barbie on May 18, 1996 he also became a dad to her son Jonathon Ross Suniga. Wade & Barbie and the boy's lived in Fredonia Texas. Wade quit driving a truck for the first two years of being married to Barbie and then He began driving again in 1998, He loved driving a semi and being what is called a Bull Hauler. Wade made many people laugh with his stories about the road or funny saying or jokes. The boy's loved going with him when they could there was always a fight over whose turn it was. His wife Barbie also loved going on trips with him it gave them time alone and she got to see things and places. Wade's driving days came to a halt on April 19, 2005 when after several days of driving with little sleep he fell asleep behind the wheel of his Truck. It was almost two hours before they cut him out of the truck Wade almost died that morning. He spent three weeks in the hospital and then went home. Wade's body went thru so much in the wreck.
