She was buried next to her husband, Theodor.

Mrs. Elizabeth Schoberand [sic] died Tuesday afternoon at 2:05 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Vahle. Mrs. Schobernd would have celebrated her 67 [sic] birthday anniversary on the 26th of February. She is the widow of Theodore [sic] Schobernd, who died May 8th, 1923.
Mr. and Mrs. Schobernd purchased an eighty-acre farm southeast of Jerseyville in 1919, and moved here from Calhoun County to be near their children.
The deceased is survived by four daughters, Mrs. John Vahle, Mrs. Edward Goetten, Mrs. John Gray and Mrs. Henry Ludwig and one son, William Schobernd, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial will be at Brussels, Calhoun County, where Mrs. Schobernd was born and raised.
