Heather Franklin Kam of Memphis, formerly of Marks and Lambert, 27, died Friday, March 23, 2001, at Baptist East Hospital of heart failure.
Services were at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, at Memorial Park Chapel with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born October 16, 1973, in Clarksdale, Mrs. Kam was a homemaker and a graduate of Delta Academy in Marks and the University of Memphis, where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta.
She is survived by her husband, David Kam, and a daughter, Sarah Caroline Kam, of Memphis; her mother and step father, Roxanne and Michael Anderson of Memphis; her grandmother, Lee Franklin of Marks; and grandparents, Gene and Annie Mae Purdy of Lambert. She was preceded in death by her father, R. L. "Jackie" Franklin, Jr. of Tupelo and her grandfather, R. J. "Jack" Franklin of Marks.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Cardio Pulmonary Transplant Organization of Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
