Carol was born May 16, 1923, in Big Spring to Billie McCormick and Herbert Nolan Beall. She grew up in the Arlington/Fort Worth area and earned the DAR Award for best all-around girl. She spent her working career in the medical field as a medical assistant and founded the first doctors' answering service in 1960, in Arlington. Carole enjoyed traveling, music and dancing but most of all her children. Carole was a loving, compassionate, caring and giving person.
Carole was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Spencer.
Survivors: Daughters, Shirlie Johnson, Cheryl Whitaker and Janice Retra; son, Quen Hussey; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
