Joe was a member of Towering Oaks Church in Berryville.
He is survived by his parents, Don and Mary Maxwell of Berryville, AR; one sister, Marcia and husband David Thrall of Siloam Springs, AR; one uncle, Hugh Binam and wife Yvonne of Berryville, AR; one aunt, Marie and husband Fred Walker of Berryville, AR; two nephews; several cousins; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Huston and Edna Maxwell; maternal grandparents, Willis and Artie Binam; and three uncles, Ernest, Floyd and Herman Binam.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2009 at the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother Larry Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Inc. Memorial donations may be made to Towering Oaks Church, 1159 Highway 62 West, Berryville, AR 72616.
