Mrs. Minerva NEWCOMER, 90, R.R. 1, Claypool, died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday in the Murphy Medical Center in Warsaw. Born Aug. 22, 1882, in Fulton county, she was the daughter of Adam and Sarah THOMPSON BARNES. Her marriage was to Frank W. NEWCOMER. He died in February, 1939. She was a member of the Center United Methodist church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Hazel) TILLMAN, R.R. 1, Claypool; three grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren. Final rites will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Tucker funeral home in Claypool. The Rev. John P. REID will officiate. Burial will be in the Palestine cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m. on Thursday.
