Mary Ross Price, the widow of Dr. Walter S. Slicer, who received his degree of Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and who was engaged in the practice of his profession at Cripple Creek, Virginia, when he entered the medical corps of the United States Army for services in the World War, he having held the rank of captain and having died while in service. His widow is now a resident of Roanoke, Virginia.
