Louise L. Phillips, 70, of Oak Ridge, formerly of Devonia, died May 4 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Mrs. Phillips was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Phillips, in 1971, and a son,
Roy Lee Phillips, in 1971. A native of Scott County, she was a homemaker.Her parents was the late Wilbert and
Angeline Mason Lowe.Survivors include her daughters, Ora Mae Patterson, Bessie Lou Phillips and Ruby G. Daugherty,all of Oak Ridge, daughters and and sons-in-law, Audrey and Edward Wilkerson of Knoxville, Mary and Jerry Sanfilippo of Reno, Nev., Betty Sue and John Wait of Oak Ridge, Debbie J. and Eddie M. Robinson of Kinston, sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Delois Phillips of Knoxville, F.C. and Shirley Phillips of Oklahoma City, Okla., Homer (Charles) and Bertha Phillips of Oliver Springs, Wilbert Phillips of Oak Ridge, 26 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, a sister, Evelyne Lowe of Smokey Junction. Services were held Wednesday night at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Hobbs officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
