Elizabeth Thomas died at her home in Summerville Sunday morning, April 21, aged 73 years, 1 month and 7 days. Death was due to a complication of diseases.
She was born March 14, 1867 at Bradys Bend, Clarion County [sic], Pa. She was a daughter of Patrick and Elizabeth (Benson) McAleer. She was married to Amaziah Thomas, May 2nd, 1887. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Clara Thomas of Summerville; Mrs. Elizabeth Sheriff of Youngstown, Ohio; Mrs. Susie Anthony of Youngstown, Ohio; James Thomas and Sheridan Thomas of Summerville and Charley of Brookville.
Other survives are: one brother and one sister, James McAleer of Kittanning and Mrs. Susan Wilson of Sharpesville, Pa., 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was a member of the Catholic church of Crates, Pa.
Funeral services were held from her late home Wednesday, April 24th at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Paul E. Wursch officiated. Interment was in the Vandervort Carrier Cemetery. She spent most of her life in Summerville.
