Gentry, John W., 66, of Northridge, retired hospital assistant chief of supply. Worked for the Veterans Administration for over 30 years. Passed away Thursday May 28, 1992.

John is survived by daughters Pamela Jane Gentry & Valerie Jean Gentry Radocay and son Paul Wesley Gentry. Son-in-law Mark Radocay and daughter-in-law Mary Jane Medcraf Brown Gentry. Grandchildren in 1992 Kelly Brooke Gentry, Kari Lene Gentry, Jonathan Radocay and Shannen Radocay.

Wife of 48 years Helen Jean Cook Gentry passed away on April 28, 2020.

Great grandchildren born later after passing include Raven Rose Gentry, Angelo John DeMay, Astor Winchester, Kaylee Preston, Riley Preston and Freyja Julia Gomali.

Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday June 7, 1992 at Knollwood United Methodist Church, Granada Hills. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Santa Paula Cemetery, Santa Paula. Skillen-Carroll Mortuary, Santa Paula.

John was known since birth as "J.W." until he went into the military and completed his own name as John William Gentry.
