Funeral services for Alice Allen, 83, of Plainview were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2005 at the Moore-Rose White Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Lockney. Reverend Robert Malcom officiated.
Burial was in the Lockney Cemetery under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Lockney.
Mrs. Allen died Friday, August 19, 2005 at Covenant Medical Center in Plainview.
She was born September 14, 1921 in Benjamin to the late William Lewis and Sarah Helen Salter. She married Weldon B. Allen on March 24, 1943 in Plainview. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1985.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie and Jerry Allen and three sisters, Irene Wiggins, Jim Berry and Ruth Johnson.
Survivors include one son, Jack Allen of Plainview; one daughter, Jan Young of Plainview; one sister, Ruby Simpson of Plainview; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
