In Nov. of 1965, Bob was united in marriage to Cheryl Emma Whiting. To this union 5 children were born. In 1978, Bob packed up his red VW bus and took his family to Blackfoot, Idaho, where he worked as a heavy machine operater on road construction. Bob was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved to tinker around building things. Bob battled with alcoholism for many years, back in the 80's, DEPRESSION wasn't as openly talked about. He lost to the demons on May 1st, 1985, after saying good-bye in his own way, to his children and his wife. He is and always will be so dearly missed. To miss him and pray for him here on Earth, is his wife, Cheryl. His sons, Mike and Ryan, his daughters, Bobbi McGhee and Kristy. Grandchildren, Jeffrey, Makaila, Maci, Jarad and Saydi. Up there in Heaven with him, his parents, his first born daughter, Kathleen, his grandson, Clay. Sisters, Lou Murphy and JoAnn Johnson and infant brother, Kenneth.
We Miss You. We Love You. And oh how we Wish You Were Here.
May the road Rise up to Meet you.
May the Wind always be at your Back.
May the Sun Shine warm upon your face
and the rains fall soft upon your Fields
and until we Meet again,
May God hold you in the Palm of His hand.
