The escort of honor will be the members of the board of deacons at the Reedy River and Forrestville Baptist churches, together with the following: Dr. T. E. Coleman, Dr. S. I. Coleman, Joe Bridwell and E. W. Batson.
Mr. Roach was born and reared in Oconee county, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Baxter Roach. For 27 years he had made his home in Greenville and was engaged in textile work until his health failed several years ago.
He was a member of the Forrestville Baptist church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillian Summerell Roach; one daughter, Miss Montez Roach; three sons, Zettner, Fred Jr., and Bobby Roach; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Baxter Roach; one brother, Ernest Roach; six sisters, Mrs. Clara Ridley, Mrs. Vera Batson, Mrs. Maude Jones, Mrs. Emma Bridwell, Mrs. Etrulia Wyatt and Mrs. Jessie Johnson.
Until the hour of the service the body is at the home of his parents in the Montague section near Travelers Rest.
