Mrs. Louise Worsham Ford, 90, 130 Lee Street Dallas, GA and formerly of Cedartown [GA] passed away Tuesday evening, July 21, 2009 in Wellstar Paulding Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Cedartown, GA on October 17, 1918 a daughter of the late Albert Archer Worsham and Hattie Elizabeth Camp Worsham. Mrs. Ford lived the last 23 years in Cedartown before moving to Dallas [GA] due to declining health. She was a member of the Lime Branch Baptist Church [Cedartown, GA], a homemaker and a beautician. Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by sisters: Marjorie Ballinger, Lola Brown, and Lucile Lankford.
Survivors include her husband of 73 years, (living) Ford to whom she was married on April 11, 1936; one son, (living) Ford, Dallas, GA; one brother, (living) Worsham, Lithia Springs, GA; two sisters: (living) Grant, Cedartown and (living) Edwards, Memphis, TN; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Wood and Minister Kiser officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.
Pallbears will include: (living) Vanek, (living) Worsham, (living) Chandler, (living) Chandler, (living) Menefee, and (living) Andrews.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
