John W. Adams, 67, passed away January 1, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital DeSoto. Services were held January 4, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Pate-Jones Funeral Home with burial following in Magnolia Cemetery in Coldwater, Miss.
Mr. Adams was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coldwater, Miss. He was a former Tate County Constable for District 3 and a former police chief of Coldwater, Miss. He was also a former member of the Coldwater J.C.'s and a former Senatobia Baseball Little League coach.
He leaves his wife, Ann Adams of Senatobia; his daughters, Hope Johnson (David) of Byhalia, Miss. and Dawn Geeslin (Marty) of Senatobia; and three grandchildren, Adam Moore, Chris Moore and Tyler Johnson.
