Al married Emily Galewski and they operated the tavern for the last 14 years. Earllier he was the superintenedent of the sewing department of the Advance Glove Co. for six years. He was a member of the board of director of the North Milwaukee Lions Club.
Al belonged to North Trinity Lutheran Church and the Wisconsin Bowling association.
Surviving are his wife, Emily; a son, a daughter both living at home; two brothers Max and Gary, of Milwaukee, WI, a half-brother Emil Boettcher, of Spring Lake MI; an adopted brother Roy Schneider, of Milwaukee, WI, and a sister, Martha Weber, of Milwaukee, WI,
Services were held at North Trinity Church. Abe Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
