Mrs. Ida C. Bedell
Mrs. Ida C. Bedell, 76, widow of Charles H. Bedell, died Sunday afternoon at her home in Clark Street Road, Town of Aurelius, after an illness of seven months. In former years she taught school in Cayuga, Tompkins and Broome Counties. Born in Montezuma, she lived in Aurelius for 37 years. She was a member of the Fosterville Methodist Church and was active in its organizations.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. John Sinsabaugh of Ithaca, Frank Curry of Rochester; several nieces, a nephew; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Fred Lasher of Port Byron; two stepsons, George Bedell of Weedsport and Louis Bedell of Aurelius with whom she lived.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Glenn F. Mosher Funeral home, 92 East Genesee Street, Auburn, and burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Cayuga.
Rev. H. G. Burley, pastor of Fosterville Methodist Church, will officiate.
Friends have been invited to call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Tuesday at the funeral home, 92 East Genesee Street.
