Henrietta "Hetty" Garman was first married to Daniel Hanshew (also buried in this cemetery) in December of 1840. He died in 1843. She then married David Shenk in 1849. Any children born before 1849 but after 1843 were Shenk children. Any child born AFTER Dec 1840 and before August 1844 "could have been fathered" by Daniel Hanshew. Any children born from Sept 1844 to 1849 were by David Shenk's first wife, whose name remains unknown. The child you have listed as Hetty's daughter is the daughter of David Shenk and his first wife.
