Sherry Mae Ledbetter, age 45, of North Carolina Highway 120, Cliffside, N.C. died Sunday, July 27, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, N.C.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Oren Dean Ledbetter, Sr. and Dollie Sisk Lowery; worked in the maintenance department with the Shaw Group, and attended Trinity Wesleyan Church, Forest City.

Survivors include a son, Lester Joe Ledbetter and his wife Jamie, of Charlotte; a daughter, Tracie Ledbetter Bermudez and husband Agenor of Forest City; a brother Marcus Carl "Buddy" Green of Rutherfordton; and three grandchildren, Natalie Mae James, David James III, and Taylor Bermudez.

Funeral services will be held four o' clock Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at The Padgett & King Mortuary with Rev. Marlin Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from three until four o' clock Wednesday prior to the service. The family will be at the home of her daughter, 152 Cobra Drive, Forest City, NC.
