Death of Mrs. Florence H Watts

Mrs. Florence H. Watts, age 58, passed away at the St. Vincent hopsital in Indinaapolis, Thursday evening at 11 o'clock of lobar pneumonia, from which she had been suffering for the past three weeks.

Mrs. Watts was born in Knightstown May 19, 1875, the only daughter of Louis and Olinda Williams Hinchman. In young womanhood she was united in marriage to Col. S.V. Ham and to this union were born two children, both of whom survive her. At the death of her husband she returned to the place of her birth and re-established her home and on September 19, 1929, she was united in marriage to George Watts, of Knightstown.

She was a member of Christ's Episcopal Church in Indianapolis and a past member of the Indiana State Board of Charities and active in civic and rural enterprise of this locality.

Mrs. Watts is survived by her husband, George Watts; one son, Lieut. Louis H. Ham, of Fort Ethan Allen, Vermont, and one daughter, Mrs. Richard E. Burnet, of Madison, New Jersey.

Private funeral services were held at the home on South Jefferson Street Monday morning at 10 o'clock, with interment in Glencove Cemetery, H.C. Gordon, funderal director, in charge.

Rev. E. Ainger Powell, rector of Christ Episcopal Church, Indianapolis, officated.
