RANDY F. HICKMAN

Randy Frederick Hickman was born in Chariton, Iowa on April 19, 1947 and passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007 from liver failure, at the VA Hospital in Des Moines.

He is survived by his mother, Nadine Hickman; his longtime companion, Lisa Wedeking; Linda Hickman, the mother of his children; brother, Tom Sinclair; daughter, Brenda Hickman; and son, Brian Hickman; grandchildren, Brittany and Dakota Hickman and Nicholas Wessel; and great-grandson, Vance Romeo Hickman.

Randy was a member of the Plasterers and Cement Masons, Local 21 for many years and was considered one of the best at his trade. Randy had many friends and was one of a kind. He will be missed by many.

Special thanks and appreciation to John Rouse and his late wife, Beth and daughters, Julie and Janet, for always being there for him and lending a helping hand and to whom he thought of as family.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Randahl Hickman.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton Burial took place at the Grimes Cemetery.
