Dead At Home
MOUNT AIRY, - Wade Clarenton Moody, 70, organizer of the North Carolina State Burial Association and formerly active in the North Carolina Funeral Directors Association, was found dead in his residence Sunday.
His physician said he died during the night, apparently of a heart attack.
Surviving are one son, Dennis Moody; daughters, Mrs. Robert C. Folger and Mrs. Clyde S. Goad and sister, Mrs. Jettie Loflen, all of Mount Airy.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Moody Funeral Chapel.
He had been in the funeral business since the age of 19; but in recent years had been in semiretirement and become chairman of the board of Moody Funeral Homes, Inc., which has home in Mount Airy, Dobson and Stuart, Va.
