Mrs. B. Elizabeth Holland

Mrs. B. Elizabeth Holland was born Oct. 9, 1842; married Sept. 6, 1906; and died July 18, 1911.

She was a daughter of Lewis E. Parker, one of our early pioneers and a man who stood high as a citizen -- loved by his neighbors and respected by all who enjoyed the pleasure of his acquaintance.

This good woman was twice married, by her first husband being a Mr. Letson, and her last was Thomas Jefferson Holland who survives her and who remaied loyal in his devotions to her until the end -- until, after a long siege of sickness, God called her spirit home.

She professed religion at an early age and joined the Methodist church, of which she was a member at the time of her death.

She left no children but a devoted husband, a brother and a great host of relatives with inumerable friends, live to lament and weep over her grave -- to plant flowers on her mound and water them with their tears.

May God comfort the bereaved, and finally save them all in Heaven.
