Justin Tyrail Garrison, 23, of Vendor, died Sunday, July 19, (2009) in Bergman.

The son of Sam Garrison and Edna Kaye (Selvidge) Laking, he was born June 21, 1986 in Harrison.


Justin graduated from Harrison High School in 2004. He had worked for the Arkansas Highway Department for three years and was a member of Deer Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruby Joyce Garrison and grandparents, Wallace Eugene and Norma Jean Selvidge.

Survivors are his wife, Amber Marie (McCutcheon) Garrison of the home; his mother and step-father, Kaye and Tim Laking of Bergman; his father and step-mother, Sam and Sandra Kay Garrison of Harrison; brother Sam Garrison of Batavia; grandfather, Preston Garrison of Alpena; grandparents, Bill and Shirley Reese of Harrison; and his father and mother-in-law, Rockie and Sheila McCutcheon.

Funeral was 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Rev. Billy Edgar officiating. Burial was in Eastlawn Cemetery at Marshall.

Pallbearers were Garrison, Phillip Millsap, Cody Selvidge, Rodney Flippo, Cash Curtis, Calem Harris, Zach Villines, and Chris Gammil.

Honorary pallbearers are his co-workers at the Arkansas Highway Department.
