Delores Margene Rogers, of Ponder, and formerly of Irving, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2009. She was born June 2, 1929 in Dallas to James F. and Lorene M. Newberry. She was the president and owner of Rogers Upholstery Corp. in Irving. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, William "Bill" Rogers of Ponder; children James Richard Rogers of Azle, Sandra Jean Keyes of Denton, Susan Marie Bell and husband Daniel of Larue, Jack Harvey Rogers and wife Susan of Blanco, John William Rogers and wife Martie of Euless, 11 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, July 20, 2009 at First Baptist Church, 101 S. Hwy. 156 in Ponder. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
