David Salveson
CHESHIRE — David E. "Dave" Salveson of Cheshire died July 8 of sepsis. He was 78. No service is planned.
He was born Oct. 22, 1930, in Wild Rose, N.D., to Ormond and Rose Olson Salveson. He married Barbara Harvey on Oct. 12, 1960.
Salveson served in the Army in Korea during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a truck driver and was owner of the Burp Holler gas station and store. He retired from Agri-Pac in Eugene. He had a high school education and attended college.
Survivors include two daughters, Penny Biboux of Monroe and Helen Clark of Eugene; two sisters, Bobbie Bartram of Fargo, N.D., and Patricia Dawley of Veneta; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His wife died March 3, 2007, and a son, Tony, died previously.
