Billy Joe "B.B." Braden, 49, of Rogersville, departed this world at 11:14 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, in Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.

Billy was born on August 21, 1952, in Springfield. He married the love of his life, Lucille Braden, on Dec. 23, 1972.

He retired from Ash Grove Lime and Cement Co. after 30 years, and was currently employed with Conoco Quarries. Billy loved to fish and to sit in his recliner and watch movies.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ival Braden; and brother, Bobby Braden.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Lucille; one daughter, Kimberly, "the pride and joy of his life," and husband, Witt; his mother, Elizabeth; one brother, Cecil; two sisters, Lisa and Peggy; one niece, Shyane; and numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, in the Preston-Marsh Funeral Home in Rogersville with burial in the Green Hill Cemetery in Fordland.
