Funeral sevices for Pauline A. Pitt age 89, of Ankeny formerly of Knoxville, will be held at the First Assembly of God Church on Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Burial will follow in the Graceland Cemetery. She passed away on Friday at the Mill Pond Community in Ankeny.

She worked for the Marion County Recorder and for Johnson, Jordan and Lane Law Office prior to retirement.

She is survived by two sons, DONALD Dean (Dawnetta) Pitt of Marshalltown, and ROBERT Joe ( Linda) Pitt of Bondurant; grandchildren, RENEE (Pat) Sporleder of Altoona, TERRI Murray of Johnston, SHAWN (Michael)Johansen of Bondurant, Ryan (Courtney) Pitt of Stet, MO, MEGAN Pitt (Mark Mangum) of Altoona; five great-grandchildren; sister, VIRGINIA Hunter and a brother, MORRIS Knebel both of Tulsa, OK.
