Ida Marie Staub, 82, of Gaithersburg, formerly of Beallsville and Frederick, died Tuesday, Oct 17, at Wilson Health Care Center of Asbury Methodist Village, Gaithersburg. She was the wife of Charles N. Staub, whom she married March 30, 1940.

Born May 27, 1918 on the Cook farm in Comus, she was a daughter of the late George Alton and Betty C Wood Cooley.

They lived on the family farm until 1944, when they moved to Beallsville, next to Staub's Restaurant. She and her husband operated the restaurant from 1944 until 1980.
