Oma Biehl was very distressed initially when she learned of her son Friedrich's interest in the teachings of the Mormon missionaries in the early 1920's. She had read a pamphlet in German which roughly translates as "The Seven Deadly Heresies" in which the Latter-day Saints figured prominently and Mormon Polygamy was described as an ongoing practice. She reluctantly attended services with Konrad and loved the LDS hymns. She would feel the spirit of truth as she attended the services but the witness would soon leave her. Ultimately in 1924 she determined to join herself with the Saints and She and Friedrich Johannes were baptized on the same day in 1924.
